We enjoyed the company of none other than Peter Hitchener from 9 News, who kicked off the luncheon with a lighthearted opening address and introduced our speakers throughout the day.
Samantha Bond from the non-profit organisation APHEDA gave us an overview of what their organisation is achieving globally, supporting movement-building through unions and social justice movements.

We then heard an inspiring testimonial from MDC community ambassador Mary Doyle, and finally, Yasmina Pinto from HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health insurer.

It’s safe to say that raising 33 million dollars for breast cancer research across Australia takes a passionate and unflinching team at MDC who are proudly supported by a wide range of partners including ISPT and our team at Foy’s Arcade. We look forward to seeing the Fundraising go through the roof for #MDC2018 !
